Special guest on the runway, <strong>Kristin Cavallari</strong> (<em>The Hills</em>), will unveil Diesel and SKYY Vodka’s Capsule Collection: four eye-catching pieces inspired by the vodka’s iconic cobalt blue bottle and logo graphics, infused with strong Diesel DNA.  Following the Diesel runway show, Cavallari and DJ <strong>Jessica Szohr</strong> (<em>Gossip Girl</em>), will join SKYY, <span style="text-decoration: underline;">the</span> vodka of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim, as it presents the Official Kick-Off Party at The Raleigh Hotel, which will also showcase décor themes of Diesel Island, the fashion brand’s latest campaign. <span id="more-794"></span></p>
<p>The exclusive Diesel runway show, taking place at 7 PM on Thursday, July 14 at the Cabaña Grande venue at The Raleigh, will feature a limited-edition collection of men’s and women’s Diesel-designed swimwear inspired by SKYY.  The centerpiece of the show will be the unique, show-stopping piece modeled by Cavallari. </p>
<p>“I can guarantee the SKYY swimwear created by Diesel is unlike anything you have ever seen,” said Cavallari.  “At Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim, SKYY is taking the sexiest event of the week and making it even sexier.” </p>
<p>Later that evening, the Official Kick-Off Party, the most coveted invite at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim, will take place at The Raleigh pool deck and Oasis at 8 PM. The party will feature an array of sensual SKYY Vodka cocktails and a wild beach feel coming directly from Diesel Island, providing the perfect combination for the crowd to dress-down to their summer outfits, along with a DJ set by <em>Gossip Girl</em> star <strong>Jessica Szohr</strong>. </p>

<p>SAN FRANCISCO, CA (September 28, 2010) – Following more than a decade of creating some of the most memorable, iconic images in advertising history, <a title="SKYY Vodka" href="http://www.skyy.com" target="_blank"><span style="color: #0000ff;">SKYY® </span></a>Vodka, the number-one selling domestic super-premium vodka in the US, announced today a new ad campaign featuring bold, vibrant imagery that is provocative, engaging and 100-percent SKYY. Designed to appeal to a new generation of vodka drinkers as well as SKYY’s dedicated fans, the print advertising campaign is shot by world-renowned photographer <a title="Raymond Meier" href="http://www.raymondmeier.com" target="_blank"><span style="color: #0000ff;">Raymond Meier</span></a> and kicks off the global “SKYY SEXY” marketing campaign in support of the core, unflavored brand.<span id="more-667"></span></p>
<p>The SKYY SEXY print campaign consists of five unique executions, each showcasing a different graphically arresting interpretation of SKYY’s sexy brand image with the brand’s iconic cobalt blue bottle serving as the focal point of intrigue.</p>
<p>“The new SKYY SEXY advertising is an inspired evolution of our ground-breaking marketing through the years,” said Andrea Conzonato, Chief Operating Officer/Chief Marketing Officer, Skyy Spirits. “We have partnered with the always-intriguing photographer Raymond Meier to create a bold new take on SKYY’s alluring persona, filling each ad with striking images that open the mind to a million sexy possibilities, but always lead you back to our world-famous blue bottle.”</p>
<p>While as incredibly captivating as previous SKYY advertising, the SKYY SEXY ads unveiled today feature a new, vivid imagery borrowing heavily from the pop-art movement. Primary colors leap from the page as they back arresting images of the human form drawing the eye to the focal center of the campaign – the much-loved cobalt blue SKYY Vodka bottle. Modern design aesthetics are evoked through clean lines that may appear to be very simple, but lead the mind to fill in the blanks and become part of the story.</p>
<p>The SKYY SEXY ads will first appear in the October issues of national general consumer print and spirits industry trade publications, such as Cosmopolitan, ESPN, Maxim, InStyle, Out, Rolling Stone, MarketWatch, Beverage Dynamics and Tasting Panel. Those will be followed by additional print publications, as well as online executions, billboards, transit and large-format wall installations in the US through the end of the year. The campaign will roll out globally in 2011 through broad above- and below-the-line marketing initiatives.</p>
<p>SKYY Vodka revolutionized the vodka industry by pioneering the first style-focused bottle matched with exceptionally sexy and thought-provoking advertising shot by the world’s most famous and controversial photographers. Entertainment for SKYY Vodka® to serve as the official vodka and promotional partner for the highly anticipated new film <em><a title="Sex and the City 2" href="http://www.sexandthecitymovie.com" target="_blank"><span style="color: #0000ff;">Sex and The City 2</span></a></em>, debuting in theatres in the U.S. on Friday, May 28.  <span id="more-567"></span></p>
<p>“After the tremendous success of SKYY Vodka’s partnership with the first <em>Sex and the City</em> film, there was no question that we wanted to continue our support of this lasting cultural phenomenon,” said Bob Kunze-Concewitz, CEO of Gruppo Campari.  “<em>Sex and the City</em> helped to define sophisticated cocktail culture around the world, and that tradition will continue as SKYY teams with Warner Bros. to give fans another reason to celebrate friendship, fashion and ‘cocktail couture’ with <em>Sex and the City 2</em>.”  </p>
<p>This new promotional partnership between Warner Bros. and Gruppo Campari/Skyy Spirits is a multi-faceted program that will showcase “cocktail couture:” the convergence of the iconic <em>Sex and the City</em> style and fabulous SKYY cocktails, the perfect accessory for social occasions.  Key elements of the promotional program include: </p>
<p><strong>Advertising:</strong>  Global co-branded advertising featuring print, broadcast, outdoor, digital and social media vehicles. </p>
<p><strong>Celebrity Spokesperson: </strong> Renowned <em>Sex and the City</em> Costume Designer <a title="Patricia Field" href="http://www.patriciafield.com" target="_blank"><span style="color: #0000ff;">Patricia Field</span></a> will serve as a spokesperson for multiple components of the SKYY campaign, as well as lending her design talents to several promotional elements tied to the film. </p>

<p>The second annual “Hot Prospect” survey recognized brands with US sales between 50,000 and 200,000 nine-liter cases in 2008, while achieving growth of at least 15 percent, after recording solid progress in 2006 and 2007 (where applicable). The All Natural SKYY Infusions vodka line, which was introduced in 2008, sold an impressive 170,000 cases in the first year. X-Rated Fusion Liqueur showed a 44 percent growth over 2007 with sales of 88,000 cases. American Honey, part of the Gruppo Campari’s purchase of Wild Turkey, posted sales of 85,000 cases, a 107 percent increase over 2007. Skyy Spirits is one of just two spirits companies that had three or more products represented on IMPACT’s annual round up of new best performing brands.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">&#8220;After successfully executing a very exciting film marketing program earlier this year with such projects as Sex and the City, we are thrilled to end the year supporting such a powerful and important film as Milk. It is a privilege to be working closely with Focus Features on a series of promotional activities to help honor someone from our own hometown of San Francisco as historically significant as Harvey Milk,&#8221; said Gerry Ruvo, Chairman and CEO of Skyy Spirits. &#8220;This partnership will not only allow us to engage millions of consumers and highlight our premium spirits brands, but equally as important, it provides us the opportunity to support the LGBT community.&#8221;</p>
<p>Skyy Spirits&#8217; promotional partnership will include a Milk cocktail charity program conducted in bars and nightclubs for legal drinking age consumers located in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Washington DC and Chicago. From November 15th until December 15th, Skyy Spirits will promote the Milk signature cocktail, &#8220;Talk of the Castro,&#8221; an inspired blend of SKYY Vodka, raspberry liqueur, orange juice, lime, and mint. For every cocktail sold, Skyy Spirits will donate one dollar to LGBT organizations, including the Gay &amp; Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD).</p>
<p>The cocktail charity promotion will be advertised in local LGBT and nightlife print publications, as well as on-premise, and will feature an integrated ad highlighting SKYY Vodka while promoting the film&#8217;s release on November 26th (in select cities) and December 5th and 12th (in additional cities). Additionally, Skyy Spirits&#8217; wide portfolio of brands will serve as the official spirits of the benefit world premiere of the film at San Francisco&#8217;s historic Castro Theatre on October 28th, followed by a post-premiere party at City Hall, where Harvey Milk made a difference as city supervisor.</p>
<p>Over the years, Skyy Spirits has demonstrated its strong commitment to the LGBT community through a variety of sponsorships, advertisements and charitable partnerships. Jason Daniel joins the progressive spirits company immediately as Senior Brand Manager for <a title="SKYY Vodka" href="http://www.skyy.com" target="_blank">SKYY® Vodka</a>, the industry&#8217;s number-one domestic premium vodka. In this role, Daniel will direct the national marketing programs supporting the flagship SKYY Vodka brand, as well as the new <a title="SKYY Infusions" href="http://www.skyyinfusions.com" target="_blank">SKYY InfusionsTM</a>, an all-natural infused experience made with premium SKYY Vodka and succulent real fruit, and SKYY90®.<span id="more-104"></span></p>

<p>Prior to joining Skyy Spirits, Daniel was with Constellation Brands where he served as Marketing Director for Clos du Bois Wines, the country&#8217;s number-one super-premium wine brand. In addition to his beverage experience, Jason was a brand manager at Del Monte Foods, one of the nation&#8217;s largest consumer packaged goods companies. Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola University and an MBA from University of California Berkeley.</p>
<p>The 2008 year has already been an exceptionally successful one for the San Francisco-based vodka in the iconic cobalt blue bottle. <p>SAN FRANCISCO, CA (June 11, 2008) &#8211; After a week-long premiere celebration, <a title="Skyy Spirits" href="http://www.skyyspirits.com" target="_blank">Skyy Spirits</a>, the definitive marketer and distributor of super-premium and luxury spirits brands in North America, toasts the women of Sex and the City for a surge in market performance thanks to SKYY&#8217;s official sponsorship of the record-breaking New Line Cinema film. <span id="more-141"></span></p>
<p>In conjunction with the premiere of the Sex and the City movie on May 30, Skyy Spirits created a comprehensive marketing campaign that included product placement of the iconic <a title="SKYY Vodka" href="http://www.skyy.com" target="_blank">SKYY® Vodka</a> brand in the film, in addition to a raft of marketing, promotional and public relations campaigns, including national print, outdoor, and online advertising; consumers sweepstakes; charity screenings; off-premise offers; and custom on-premise programs featuring SKYY Vodka cocktails named after each of Sex and the City&#8217;s leading ladies.</p>
<p>&#8220;The in-market success we have seen since we announced our partnership with New Line and Sex and the City has been outstanding,&#8221; said Gerry Ruvo, President and CEO, Skyy Spirits. &#8220;Sales in March and April for SKYY Vodka jumped double digits based on the excitement surrounding our promotions tied to the film. There really could not have been a better partner to enhance our existing marketing efforts.&#8221;</p>
<p>Placement of the SKYY Vodka Sex and the City cocktails, appropriately named the Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha, beat all previous company records for on-premise adoption. In just 30 days, more than 3,000 bars, restaurants and nightclubs signed up to carry the distinctive, signature drinks, which were matched with exciting marketing collateral.</p>
<p>Houlihan&#8217;s Restaurants linked its popular &#8220;Diva Nights&#8221; program with the national Sex and the City promotion, propelling a 65 percent lift in overall sales for Skyy Spirits brands at the popular casual dining chain.</p>
<p>&#8220;This was a perfect opportunity for Houlihan&#8217;s,&#8221; said Jen Gulvik, VP of Marketing for Houlihan&#8217;s Restaurants, Inc. &#8220;Skyy Spirits brought us Sex and the City, which we in turn customized for our existing ‘Diva&#8217; program we&#8217;ve built over four years to become known as a destination for girls&#8217; night out. The shoe could not have fit any better, and the resulting lift in business has been outstanding.&#8221;</p>
<p>To add more excitement and buzz around the movie&#8217;s premiere, Skyy Spirits sponsored a national sweepstakes that gave two lucky winners an all-expense paid trip for two to the star- studded New York premiere on May 27. SKYY Vodka and other Skyy Spirits products, such as Campari® and Cabo Wabo® Tequila, stole the show at the glitzy premiere after-party with stars of the film enjoying their namesake cocktails along with the glitterati of the movie world.</p>
<p>Skyy Spirits also hosted two special charity screenings of the movie in advance of the general release. The San Francisco event on May 28 was hosted by Sex and the City star Willie Garson (Stanford Blatch) and raised $15,000 for STOP AIDS and the San Francisco AIDS Foundation. The Los Angeles event on May 29 was hosted by Sex and the City star Kristin Davis (Charlotte York) and producer/writer/director of the film Michael Patrick King. That event, also attended by Lisa Kudrow (Friends), raised more than $20,000 for AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA).</p>
